Lippman on Court Reform
Earlier this week, New York State Chief Judge Jonathan Lippman appeared at the John Jay/H.F. Guggenheim Symposium on Crime in America to give an address about court reform. His remarks covered a broad range of topics, including the ongoing value of problem-solving courts in helping to reduce correctional spending. He mentioned several Center for Court Innovation projects along the way, including Red Hook and Midtown as well as our efforts to create a new community court in Brownsville.
